OUR COMMITMENT TO SUSTAINABILITY
Since 2022, we have been a Benefit Company and certified B Corp because we believe in a cosmetics model that has a positive impact on the community and the environment.
This certification is not just a recognition of excellence in sustainability: it inspires us to strive every day to do more and better to promote the well-being of all of us and of future generations.
What is B Corp certification?
B Corp™ is a certification awarded to companies that demonstrate they meet rigorous social performance standards
and environmental, transparency, and accountability . A certified B Corp™ company balances profit and mission to generate a positive impact for its employees, communities, and the environment.
The “B Corporation Certification” is a trademark that is licensed by B Lab , a private non-profit organization, to companies
which, like ours, have successfully passed the B Impact Assessment (“BIA”) and therefore meet the requirements requested by B Lab in terms of social and environmental performance, responsibility and transparency.
Please note that B Lab is not a conformity assessment body pursuant to Regulation (EU) No. 765/2008
or a national, European, or international standards body pursuant to Regulation (EU) No. 1025/2012. The BIA criteria are distinct and autonomous from the harmonized standards resulting from ISO standards or other standards bodies and are not ratified by national or European public institutions.
We don't want to be the best in the world but better for the world
“ B Corp certification is a proud achievement and a starting point on the path to change of which we are a part.”

OUR COMMITMENTS
RECYCLABILITY
We believe in the importance of recycling and waste separation: We are committed to using single-material packaging to simplify disposal.

Boxes and Packaging
100% recyclable and made with certified paper from responsibly managed forests, free from acids and heavy metals.

Plastic Containers
100% recyclable and we prefer those produced with raw materials of plant origin, obtained with plant-based raw materials such as sugar cane processing waste and with reduced CO2 emissions.

Glass and other materials
100% recyclable and if the type of material is not yet recyclable we highlight this in the HOW TO RECYCLE section on the website.
OVER-PACKAGING
We eliminated leaflets and many pencil cases, saving over 1000 kg of paper per year.
We've eliminated unnecessary and non-recyclable accessories (plastic spatulas, brushes). Product packaging materials are kept to a minimum: this allows us to use fewer raw materials like paper, cardboard, plastic, and glass, and reduces the energy footprint required for production, transportation, and disposal.

THEAOLOGY CARE
For us, sustainability means contributing to the development of courageous businesses and organizations.
We are proud to support the Wikiliya Tea Farm in Sri Lanka and its community of tea growers in the Balangoda region with the TeaologyCare project . We also collaborate with charitable initiatives such as the Alice Cooperative, which helps women in prison regain dignity and a better future through work.
