Products are shipped by carrier selected by CGS, and a shipping tracking service is active.
The Carrier delivers on working days (hence excluding Saturdays, Sundays and local or national holidays) between 9:00 and 18:00.
If the product cannot be delivered, the Carrier leaves a notice on the bell/in the post box notifying the addressee that it has tried to deliver. A second try is planned automatically for the next day. If the addressee is absent once again, the shipment is stored in the zone branch for 3 working days. On the 4th day the parcel is deposited with the local Post Office and the postman will deliver a notice to the addressee. The addressee has a further 7 days (working, including Saturday) to collect the parcel from the Post Office. If the parcel should not be collected during that period, it will be returned to CGS automatically.
CGS will not be held responsible for any malfunctions in the carrier delivery service.
When the products are delivered, the Customer is obliged to check:
• that the number of boxes being delivered corresponds with the quantity indicated in the transport document;
• that packaging is intact and not damaged
• any damage to packaging and/or product must be identified immediately, and be specifically indicated on the product delivery document to be returned to the carrier;
• any problems related to the physical integrity, correspondence or completeness of products received must be reported within 14 days of delivery, as specified in this document.
A payment of 5,90€ is charged for delivery in Italy. The cost for international deliveries is of 11,90€.
No charge is foreseen for orders exceeding 69€ (net of discounts, promotions and collection charges).
Products are shipped within 48 hours from the order reception date if the latter is made by 16:00 on a weekday. Any delivery delays can be caused by the temporary unavailability of products, by carrier service malfunctioning, by force majeure circumstances or a festivity. If the purchase is made by Credit Card or PayPal, the shipment delay could be due to not being able to collect the payment amount authorised. If the goods should not be received within 5 working days (excluding Saturday and Sunday), please contact the customer service at email@example.com.
