WHAT IS BAKUCHIOL?

It is an ingredient from the Ayurvedic tradition extracted from the seeds of the Indian Babchi plant that at the skin level mimics the smoothing and firming benefits of traditional retinol.
Bakuchiol, like retinol, has the ability to improve skin tissue and complexion by stimulating cell regeneration and the production of collagen and elastin.
It also tightens the skin and counteracts acne marks and blemishes.Bakuchiol is very gentle and does not make the skin photosensitive.

BAKUCHIOL VS RETINOL

The BRITISH JOURNAL OF DERMATOLOGY conducted a study to compare the clinical efficacy and side effects of bakuchiol and retinol in improving common signs of facial skin aging.
The study showed that bakuchiol is comparable to retinol in its ability to improve photoaging and is better tolerated than retinol.

CLINICALLY PROVEN EFFECTIVENESS

In vivo and in vitro tests have shown that Bakuchiol 1% stimulates collagen production in dermal fibroblasts and after a 12-week treatment, the depth of wrinkles is dramatically reduced
