GUA-SHA PROTOCOL FIRMING FACE - NECK MASSAGE
Before starting the massage, it is recommended to apply a sliding product (oil, serum, cream) that reduces friction and promotes the absorption of the active ingredients in skin care products.

SIDE OF THE NECK
Objective: to stimulate circulation and lymphatic drainage
Movement: from top to bottom, from jaw line to collarbone.
Gua Sha:
- Serrated side – 5-8 upward strokes
- Smooth side – 8-10 upward strokes
Tempo: slow, about 3 seconds per movement

FRONT OF THE NECK
Goal: gentle drainage and relaxation
Gentle movements avoiding the trachea, from the jaw line to the sides and hollows above the collarbones.

BACK OF THE NECK
Objective: relaxation and recovery
Movements from the hairline downwards, 5-7 strokes.

JAW LINE AND FACIAL CONTOUR
Objective: firming and definition of the contour
Gua Sha: smooth edge (for contouring), wavy if you want a more intense lifting effect
Movement: from chin → jaw → ear, with short pause and mini oscillations at the ear.
Repetitions: 5-8 per side

MUSCLE RELAXATION
Goal: reduce masseter tension
Gua Sha: small wavy/serrated edge for micro-movements; smooth for longer movements
Movement: Short micro-movements up and down in the masseter muscle area
Repetitions: 10-15 gentle

CHEEKS / CHEEKBONES
Objective: lifting, firming and reduction of swelling
Gua Sha: Start with the smooth side, then add the wavy edge on more resistant fabrics
Movement: from the wings of the nose → temples, resting the instrument flat on the cheek
Repetitions: 5-7, with upward movement for lifting effect

LIP CONTOUR
Goal: smooth wrinkles and tone
Gua Sha: smooth edge
Movement: from the center of the chin → upwards with an arch → ear; above the lips, a slight horizontal movement from the center to the sides
Repetitions: 5

FOREHEAD
Goal: smooth horizontal wrinkles
Gua Sha: smooth edge
Vertical movement: from eyebrows towards hairline, 5-10 repetitions
Horizontal movement: from the center of the forehead → temples, 5 repetitions

DÉCOLLETAGE
Objective: Drainage and relaxation of the pectoral muscles
Gua Sha: wavy for denser tissue, smooth for drainage
Movement: from the center of the sternum to the sides and armpit, fan-shaped; under the clavicle, from the shoulder to the center
Repetitions: 5-7 per side

FINAL DRAINAGE OF THE NECK
Objective: to complete lymphatic drainage
Gua Sha: smooth side
Movement: From the top of the neck to the hollows above the collarbones, 3-5 slow movements
CONCLUSION OF TREATMENT
Apply a Teaology face and neck sheet mask (choosing the one best suited to your skin's needs) to your face and chin and leave it on for 10-15 minutes. Gently pat any excess serum remaining after removing the mask onto your face, neck, and décolleté.
To finish the treatment, apply a firming face cream (matcha ultra firming cream or white tea anti-aging cream)
