Cultivated with respect for biodiversity and in high altitude plantations. It is harvested in spring and is a valuable fermented tea rich in caffeine, theobromine and antioxidants that have a stimulating, energising and antioxidant effect. This variety of tea is cultivated in the Rulindo District in Rwanda.
