Organic Blue Tea

CHARACTERISTICS
This is a semi-fermented tea, the process of which is stopped as soon as the leaves begin to take on their characteristic blue-green colour. A particular variety of Blue Tea, Oolong is mainly cultivated in the Fujian region of China and its name means "black dragon" due to the conformation of the large leaves which, when rolled and dried, take on the appearance of small dragons. It is a precious source of antioxidant catechins which have an astringent, soothing and toning action, and of caffeine which constricts the blood vessels under the skin and eliminates the dark effect of dark circles around the eyes.
